Some answers to your questions
It is best to send us an email through the contact section of our website, giving as much information as possible (the chosen pack, the duration of the rental, your status in Canada, etc.). We undertake to provide you with a quote within 24 hours.
Our rental service is offered to people passing through Montreal, such as students, interns, workers, young professionals, etc. We ask for proof that you are indeed passing through Montreal (educational proof, study permit, etc.) and we reserve the right to refuse certain requests.
We accept contracts of 5 months or more. In some cases, we may accept 4 months (for a university session) but below that, we will not respond to your request.
A minimum of 5 items must be ordered for a tailor-made pack.
Once you accept the quote for your chosen pack and send a copy or scan of the papers requested in your contract, we will schedule a delivery with you, according to your availability. We can deliver within 48 to 72 hours after acceptance of the contract.
Our warehouse is not open to the public and our furniture is the same as on our website. However, it is possible to choose your furniture, depending on the stock available in the warehouse, one week before your delivery. We send you the available furniture by email and you can make your choice.
Our service is offered for people in Montreal. In some cases, we can deliver to Longueuil and Laval.
We accept payments by check, Interac transfer and cash.
On the day of delivery, you must have in hand a copy of the papers requested in the contract, your deposit check as well as the first rental payment. We will also complete the contract with you if necessary.
On the day of delivery, you must pay the amount for the current month. Thereafter, all payments will be on the 1st of each month.
No, the price of our packs is tax included.
The deposit serves as insurance against the equipment. It will be given to you at the end of your contract, after inspection of the furniture. In the event of equipment breakdown, a certain amount may be withheld from your deposit or the entire deposit.
It is your duty to contact us to tell us about your move. Only Pack Mobilier can transport the furniture from your home to another because it is our property.
First of all, keep your furniture clean and in good condition. Also, to provide us with a valid telephone number, a valid email, and to respond to messages sent within a reasonable time. If for a personal reason you must leave the country before the end of your contract, you must notify us in advance of your departure. If you plan to rent your room with our furniture to another person, you must notify us so that we can verify the information of the new tenant and thus make a new contract with them.
First, notify us. We prefer the card of honesty than having to chase after you. It is possible to make an agreement with you, depending on the reasons for the late payment. We have some flexibility to accommodate you. If we have not heard from you after a week of late payment or the reasons for the late payment are not valid, we reserve the right to recover our furniture without notice.
